Get To Know Amber
Nice to meet you!
Amber & Earth started with a love and passion for flowers and grew into a thriving, home-based floral design business. Specializing in floristry for weddings and events, I create and execute all the designs myself right from my home studio in Howell, NJ. I specialize in providing a very personal and detailed experience for my wedding clients. I only take on a certain number of weddings a year so I can focus all my attention and time on each individual client as their big day approaches. I found that not only do I enjoy the process of creativity more this way, but so do my clients! I enjoy focusing on every little detail and making sure that our collaborative vision for the big day comes to life.
Along with wedding floral design, I also teach design workshops all over NJ. I have a true passion for teaching and educating people on the great big world of flowers and deign. People have come from all over the state to attend my workshops. Some of my recurring, seasonal workshops have even become a favorite tradition among locals. It brings my heart so much joy to share the love I have for flowers and creativity with others who share that love as well. I truly enjoy teaching others how to design with natures gifts and how to take the skills they learn and continue to let their passion spark their own creativity.
Another huge part of my business and life I want to share, is my love and passion for nature. It’s what inspires my floral designs and truly what keeps my mind and soul at peace. When I am outdoors I feel calm and complete. I utilize my half an acre backyard to raise my 4 little ladies (aka my chickens), grow veggies for my family and grow flowers that I can use in my floral designs. People ask me how I came up with my business name and my answer is simple. The Earth gives me the flowers and then I give them to you. Ergo Amber & Earth. Gotta give credit where credit is due.
When I started this small business, I was a newly wed in a new house who was just entering a new phase of life with my husband. Over the past 8 years, my business has grown, our house became a home and we added a pup and 2 beautiful sons to our family. Amber & Earth is rooted in flowers but has grown into so much more.

I'm here to spread and share the joy that flowers and nature bring by providing you with beautiful designs and interactive workshops. We want to remind you to get outside and get your hands dirty. Grow something, create something, and don't forget to stop and smell the roses. Flowers feed the soul.
